WLC Visits the National Portrait Gallery
WLC learners, teachers, and volunteers visited the Portrait Gallery yesterday. For most learners, this was their first visit to the National Portrait Gallery. A docent led them on a tour urging them to compare different techniques, how other artists influenced the pieces, and the historical details found in the background of various works. Visiting the museum is just one of the many creative ways we keep learning interesting at WLC.
