With one in five DC residents 18 and older lack basic skills in reading and math, many adults have difficulty with daily tasksAdult literacy difficulties are pervasive and require a multi-pronged approach to addressing low adult literacy skills in the DMV.

WLC offers resources and information to address educational and vocational needs in the following areas that:

  • Address educational and vocational needs

  • Navigate critical issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic

  • Help maintain the health and safety of themselves and their families

  • Emerge from this crisis prepared to continue their education and compete for living wage jobs
