FOUNDATIONAL READING.
Format: In Person Learning
Description: This entry-level literacy course supports adult learners in building essential reading skills necessary for daily life, employment, and further education. The curriculum focuses on phonemic awareness, decoding strategies, sentence structure, and vocabulary development. Lessons incorporate CASAS reading-level assessments and introduce reading comprehension strategies to help students construct meaning from printed text. Designed for beginner-level readers, ESL learners, and ABE students, this course fosters reading confidence and motivation through active, engaging strategies.

Format: In Person Learning
Description: This course builds upon foundational reading skills, helping learners expand their vocabulary, improve grammar, and develop advanced reading comprehension strategies. Description: This course provides practical math instruction tailored to the needs of adult learners in both professional and everyday settings. Key topics include fractions, decimals, percentages, budgeting, calculating salaries and raises, and interpreting data. Format: Virtual
Description: This course is a dynamic program designed to strengthen essential literacy and numeracy skills for adult learners. Aligned with College and Career Readiness Standards and utilizing CASAS GOALS assessments, this course provides personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs. Participants will build confidence in reading comprehension, critical analysis, and mathematical problem-solving, gaining the foundational skills needed for academic success and workplace advancement. Whether preparing for higher education or enhancing employment opportunities, this course empowers learners to achieve their goals and unlock their potential for a brighter future.

DIGITAL LITERACY.
Format: Self-paced hybrid learning
Description: This course will improve introductory computer and digital skills through a hybrid learning experience. Topics covered include navigating the digital world, using Google and Microsoft tools for the workplace, workplace email etiquette, navigating virtual platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, scheduling meetings and events, accessing notes and tasks, finding online information, and maintaining a secure online presence.

Description: Our GED Preparatory Program is designed to help you achieve your educational and job goals. We offer comprehensive math, science, social studies,

The Essential Education GED ACADEMY™ makes learning engaging and effective, whether brushing up on existing skills or starting fresh. This program is tailored to build confidence and prepare you for the GED® Test.
LEARNING SKILLS FOR LIFE.

Description: This unique bartender training program is intended for individuals experiencing unemployment and financial difficulties. The course supports professional growth for those seeking entry-level positions in the hospitality industry. The curriculum includes bartender training, identification of life skills and personal strengths, identification of financial fitness and preparedness,
and development of employment readiness skills.

JUMPSTART 2 SUCCESS.
Format: Virtual
Description: This program offers participants a boot camp experience to help them obtain essential certifications and identify their education and employment goals. Participants will engage in various activities, including interest assessment, skills-matching exercises, identification of multiple intelligences, career exploration clusters, and occupational seminars with industry professionals. Additionally, resume and interview workshops are provided.
