WLC Host Digital Literacy Roundtable
WLC is hosting a Digital Literacy Roundtable with community leaders to share their unique perspectives about the scope of digital literacy needs and how we can close existing gaps.
At the Washington Literacy Center, we’ll soon observe our 60th anniversary of removing the barriers to literacy by teaching basic skills — word attack (sounding things out), fluency (reading at a proper pace), and comprehension (understanding and thinking critically) to adults who read below a fifth-grade level. We also offer a digital literacy training program.
