Maria Ibañez

Maria Ibañez is an Adjunct Professor of Communications Studies at UDC, Montgomery College, and the University of Maryland Global Campus. Throughout her career, she held senior level leadership positions in the public, private and nonprofit sector including the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Association for Women in Science, and U.S Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. For more than 25 years, Maria's work has intersected national strategic communications, higher education teaching, and public policy. Maria has served as an Advisory Board Member of Washington Literacy Council for more than four years. She is also the Board Chair of CASA and a founding member of DC Women in Politics.
