Our latest Professional Bartending Academy: Learning Skills for Life Graduation was held on August 2nd. It culminated an ongoing five-week intensive bartending and pre-employment experience designed to jumpstart participants’ career training, workforce readiness and employment opportunities. WLC offers this unique, no-cost learning opportunity in partnership with Diageo, one of the world's leading beverage companies, and The Professional Bartending School, Inc.

FREE BARTENDER TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP FOR NON-BARTENDERS
(this scholarship is for those seeking to enter the bartending industry)
Washington Literacy Center, The Professional Bartending School, and DIAGEO, one of the world's leading beverage companies, are excited to announce a unique Bartender Training Scholarship Program called Learning Skills for Life. The five-week program includes Bartending, Life Skills, Financial Fitness, and Employment Readiness skills development.

We offer this scholarship as part of a national initiative to work with communities and individuals experiencing unemployment and financial difficulties. We are interested in applicants who are currently unemployed, underemployed, or experiencing financial hardship. You MUST meet the qualification criteria listed. All candidates will be interviewed.

This is a scholarship. There are NO FEES. You are responsible for your transportation, arriving on time, and 100% attendance.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA:
