Amy received her Bachelor’s Degree in French Studies from the American University in Paris. She received her MEd in Elementary Education from John Carroll University and taught in Shaker Heights, Ohio before relocating to Washington with her family. She has received training in the use of Color Vowel Approach, and is a certified Wilson instructor. She recently completed Certification in Adult Education at the University of the District of Columbia. As part of her Certificate program, Amy created and piloted “Supporting Your Child’s Literacy”, a class for parents of school age children.
