This FUNraiser helps us achieve our mission to “raise the literacy level of adults in Washington, DC so that they may function on the job, in the family and society."
The Washington Literacy Center is proud of our long history of addressing learning barriers, such as dyslexia, and helping adults and their families thrive and become independent. While reading is at the core of everything we teach, our classes now include math, digital, financial, and health literacy, and workforce training - all designed to help our learners succeed.
People are counting on us as never before. The Washington Literacy Center, along with our supporters, will continue to change lives. Thank you for your support.
